The purpose of this study is to establish the BIM process in the phase of structural design. Still it is a challenge to complete the entire cycle of BIM process in the structural design which has many interoperability problems. To solve these problems, it was developed a automatic reinforcement design system for beam and wall elements to create essential output to the next level of the process and to raise the interoperability of data. Also this study includes the establishment of the BIM process which is suitable for Korean construction circumstances.
