And as the building gets higher, bottom-up evacuation became important as well as top-down evacuation. Thus this research operated an evacuation experiment and analysed the occupant's evacuating time and behaving characters. In the research, we had a mock evacuation test with 351 people evacuating top-down and 334 people evacuating bottom-up to understand the characteristics of ground floor and rooftop evacuation. The occupant's change of walking speed and behavior that occurred in the evacuation staircases has been analyzed through the CCTV that recorded time and passage on each staircase.
