This structure is much more economical system than typical structures since it is possible that using fewer materials is able to gain as same strength with others. Moreover, these structures cannot become local due to vibrating easily by transferring loads rapidly. Therefore, Tensegrity system is effective way in area where earthquakes are a problem. However, these structures system has some disadvantages such as lack of design, analysis techniques, fabication complexity and relatively high deflections.
