The Apartment remodeling began in early 2000 with government's housing policy. This study is analyzed 13 apartment housing remodeling cases undertaken since 2000 in Seoul metropolitan areas. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the apartment remodeling unit plans cases. The research method is to collect data on the apartment remodeling projects completed in Seoul metropolitan area, and to analyze and describe remodeling unit plans. The results of the analysis is as followed. The first, remodeling is usually a unit extension, and the reconfiguration of space is made after front and rear additions in early time. In recent years a variety of configuration and supply of system(selection type of unit) appears. Second, core type with stair and elevator changed corridor type into stair type. Third, remodeling is usually horizontal addition, but since 2007 in the case of first story is shown as pilotis and one floor addition on the top. |
