This study investigated thermal insulation properties of exterior insulation finishing and system(EIFS) for apartment house and analyzed the economical efficiency of EIFS, from which to select the optimum material to improve of energy performance of building at the design phase. First of all, this study researched the inside and outside of the country regulations and the standards concerned with thermal insulation properties of EIFS. To analyze thermal insulation properties of EIFS products, investigation and analysis of thermal conductivity of materials for EIFS. Based on the investigation, the saving effects of cooling and heating load in case, installing high-performance insulation analyzed by using simulation program and, then this study analyzed the economical efficiency through the comparison of the cost of construction and the cost of energy consumption converted by heating and cooling load. |
