Nowadays, with one step forward, much effort is made to achieve zero energy in multi-house by introducing new and renewable energy facility to a building. The present study aimed at estimating the cost for renewable energy facility adopted to achieve zero energy in a multi-house after calculating the present cost for energy consumption as well as energy loads at the existing multi-house. At the same time the study evaluated the reduction effect in energy load and cost in cases of integration of passive design and high efficient energy-related equipment and materials. As a result it was analyzed that cost reduction and cutdown of energy load be achievable up to approx 50% as a whole.
