Modern society is an era that demands higher standards of living and accordingly healthy living conditions due to fast economic growth. The most typical housing type in Korea is apartment and it occupies more than 50% of the whole housing in the cities. And it has not only physical but also social, psychological and economic attribute. Since it includes factors like location as well as unit plan, buildings, and complexes, it is needed to different assessment indicators from those for existing typical houses to measure health housing quality. This study analyzed the concept of apartment Korean or foreign health related indicators, healthy performance, health housing quality, health housing planning factors and apartment performance assessment indicators and also to set up the direction for developing such indicators through literature review. It is expected that this study will be the frame to understand residential environment of apartment from a overall and systematic perspective. |
