Since the Japanese occupation, Urban housing construction was started in the open port area of Busan. After the National Liberation, the apartment housing construction has been started to solve the problem of housing shortage since the 1960s. Now that the city has being redeveloped, this study about modern apartment housing is very important. The apartment housing that has historic & cultual resources of Korea is remained in the Busan original area of old downtown. We can know modern dwelling culture. So we need to study about that. In this context, the object of study is apartment housing in Dong-gu, Seo-gu, Young do-gu, Jung-gu of Busan. This area has been preserved in that process of expansion in the city. This research analyzes background of construction, complex and block plan, through the investigation of real condition and literature. As a result, we know complex of apartment housing and the period characteristics. The result will provide basic data for the research for the dwelling. |
