This study was conducted by several research methods including document reviews, case studies, the discussion of related experts and the AHP comparative analyze through survey. First of all, this study shows the necessity of the assessment criteria of the Korean Slowcity by scrutinizing the differences between domestic and oversea countries to apply the assessment criteria and evaluating problems of recent assessment system in Korea. Second, 34 criterions adapted the Korean context were derived from the discussion of related experts. After that, through the discussion of related experts and the AHP comparative analyze, this study set up the weight for each indicator and it results in 22 indicators of weight 3, 10 indicators of weight 2, 2 indicators of weight 1.
