Recently, more attention of DSC(Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell) has been, paid with the potential of glazing applications. the goal of this study is to analyse the optical characteristics of DSC through the scale model experiments. We selected a office unit which has 6m of width and 9m of depth, 4m of height and 9㎡ of window area. with the 1:10scale model, the experiments were performed on the condition of CIE overcast sky. There were three different types of glazing: single DSC window, transparent window + DSC window, transparent window + partial DSC window. The transparency of glass and DSC module were 74% and 19%, respectively. The daylight factor for each case were used for the model 11.15% of ordinary window case, 1.40% of DSC basic window, 1.19% of DSC double window and 5.25% of DSC hybrid window. the results revealed that the DSC wondows have lower light transmittance and for there better daylight performance specialized design of wondow with DSC should be considered. |
