Recently, wind energy is emerging as next generation new growth power with the highest economic efficiency among new & renewable energies. This study intends to model actual building by devising composite building established on the tower of long span bridge on the sea, and evaluate the efficiency of wind energy source through various kinetic simulations. This study adopted VAWT method that offers high applicability to building though its energy efficiency is low. Experiment was done by using ① membrane, ② fluid turbine and kit, ③ actuated tensegrity to solve the problems VAWT method involves, and the experiment results are as follows: 1) The case with membrane installed showed 25.5% elevation of rotation compared with the case with no installation of membrane. 2) Turbine rotating body with fluid in it showed higher rotation amount compared with solid turbine rotating body. 3) Actuated tensegrity promotes unrestricted modification, and thus offset vortex vibration. Thus, this study proposed the design of wind power composite building using tower after applying the above technique as design elements. |
