Furthermore, it is necessary to expand to long span structure without internal columns because long span plan is more easy to expand and easy for remodeling in the future. This study is about applying prestressed concrete to apartment building floor to accomplish long span floor system. In this study two types of long span floor systems are proposed, which are post-tensioned long span flat plate and pre-tensioned (precast) long span hollow core slab.
