The facing problem of samll local cities in Korea, is to find a way to decrease of environmental stress and to creat a competitive city on the condition of a financial vulnerability and a decrease in population. To find a way, there is needed a creative urban regeneration plan, based on her peculiarity, which is distinguished with urban plans seemed in the metropolitan area. This study try to find some hints by analyzing the process of the Machitukuri in a small local city of Mishima, Situoka, Japan, as a model case, which get an agreeable urban environment. The research method of this study are referring to sundry records, field research and the concerned persons interview. This research is focused on the processes of the projects, a regal urban plan, and continuous participation of citizen to realize the projects. From the process analysis, this study find out citizens propose projects and which are realized by cooperating with administrative agency. This is a sort of a next step of the citizen paticipation in urban plan. There is not a representative citizen organization as a beside of administration, but there are varied organization of citizen. and a regal urban plan. |
