The change affected the lives of people, values, perceptions and needs for housing. People wanted the form of new housing which provide a variety of patterns. To meet these conditions and to respond according to the requirements of the flexible housing is becoming increasingly necessary. This study aims to improve the quality of domestic housing in the country as truly applicable to propose Flexible Housing. Theoretical research method and case study was used to identify the characteristics of the recent domestic and foreign Flexible Housing. Results of this study; Domestic flexible housings were passive concept that changed in the internal space but overseas expanded the three concepts of flexible housing: variability, elasticity and mobility. Analysis of recent trends had many of the foreign experiments and the application of new concept and theories much more than the domestic.
