The limit for the current rating of the impact sound insulation performance has been analyzed by identifying the level of contribution made by the single number quantities for each measured frequency and each change of feature in regard to the blocking function for the thickness of the slab. After the blocking function of the floor impact sound was legalized, the representative floor structure made of 210mm slabs for apartment houses has been improved with the rate of 65% which satisfies the minimum standard of 50dB for the blocking function of the heavy floor impact sound. However, there are still cases which do not satisfy the standard floor structure. The determining frequency broadband of 63Hz for the inverse A-weighted single number quantities influences the blocking function of the floor impact sound the most. regarding the rating of the impact sound insulation performance.
