Redevelopment duration is one of the most important considerations to vitalize urban redevelopment works. In the previous studies, the factors affecting redevelopment duration is rarely explored because of lack of data and use of inappropriate analysis tools. In addition, use of entire redevelopment work period in the analysis without dividing the periods by specific process leads to unreliable statistical results. For this reason, determinants of durations of each process period are explored using the Cox’s proportional hazard model. It is found that the factors affecting duration of each redevelopment process could be differentiated based on particular condition of each step.
