In this study, an isolation table, which is equipped with guide rails with a curvature, was developed and shaking table test was carried out to verify its isolation performance. First, sine sweep test was performed to experimentally measure the natural frequency of the isolation table. Test results showed that experimentally measured natural frequencies are independent of the variations of equipment weights located at the upper of the isolation table, and they are good agreement with the natural frequency designed to 0.25 Hz. Also, it was confirmed from earthquake wave excitation test results that the isolation table reduced the acceleration response by 90%. |
