The energy efficiency of the buildings in the city can be enhanced if the type and amount of energy consumption in buildings can be determined. Towards this, 40 general buildings and 118,000 houses were surveyed. The percentage of energy consumption for heating and cooling are observed as; department stores: was 52%, marts 17~25%, business buildings 25%, hospital 28% and apartment houses 65%. Of the total energy required for heating and cooling, hot and cold water generator accounts for 47%.
