An approach from the perspective of existentialism ontology would be find to explore the essence of expressional characteristics in their architectural spaces. Especially, the tectonic viewpoint is one of ways to explore them. First of all, this study considers general, conceptual features of tectonic from the modern and classical views. As a tectonic with an ontological meaning, not a general one, their architectural spaces have logics and standpoints close to the essence.
