Most of the daycare centers in Korea are lack of the programs and spatial plans that would serve the purpose of the institutions. The research of the appropriate programs along with the spatial plans for the daycare centers are necessary. The purpose of this study is the development of the specialized programs and design guideline for the elderly daycare centers. The research of the problems of the existing programs of the daycare centers are carried out along with studies of the precedents for the solutions.
