Urban regeneration, which is recently being treated as a methodology of city planning, maintains the local community, and in wider context, it maintains the context of local living. It inherits and develops communities of that region, and promotes its continuance based on the value of their lives and communities around local residents. Purpose of this study is intended to develop process that allows easy embodiment, proposition, and discussion of community garden planning ideas based on the local demands, which allows residents to constitute community in major spatial determinants, and to confirm their effect. To do so, by using specific community garden of actual residential areas as the target, recognition of local residents on the significance and importance would be confirmed as local community through utilization research of related community garden. Development process of community garden supporting tools based on the regional characteristics, which were verified by deliberating between our researchers and researchers from local community colleges, would be confirmed. Also, it was used as a related discussion tool in residents workshop in actual community garden planning process, and effects of changes in the views of residents and planning changes in community garden were confirmed. |
