Thus, it should be designed to satisfy the residents who have various characteristics without the discomfort. Based on the residents of each apartment floor space, the study has selected the universal design elements of apartment bathroom and has evaluated them. The subject was 3 apartments of floor space of 20, 30, 40 pyeong and which have over 300 households among the privately-built apartments which has been built after the 2000 at the Jangyu new urban area in Gimhae. The research subject were the housewives and total 300 case studies which is equally divided for each apartment floor spaces were investigated. As far as the difference of floor space is concerned, the 20 pyeong floor space residents have lower satisfaction compared with that of 30 and 40 pyeong floor space residents. The conclusions were as followings. The finishing materials of bathroom floor should be use non-slippery materials and the light switch which beams during darkness should be installed. Also the bathroom facilities and edge of furnitures should be handled with a round shape.
