The purpose of this study is to analyse changes of residential space in floor plans between 85㎡(26pyeong) plan and 99㎡(30pyeong) plan, which are standard rural house designs(SRHD). The study carried out targeting 6 spaces, such as entrance, rooms, living+dinning kitchen(LDK), bathrooms, public spaces, storage spaces in the floor plan of SRHD. The result of study is as follows 1) Recently the entrance space of urban houses are getting bigger but there are no changes of the entrance space of rural houses because outside space(madang) of rural house includes various behaviors that do the function of on entrance space of urban houses. 2) The space of rooms and LDK are getting narrower as time goes on. The rooms of traditional rural houses include various behaviors; eating, gathering of family, sleeping and watching TV etc., but these day most rooms serve just the function of sleep so, space of rooms are getting smaller. LDK was one space in SRHD before 2001 but LDK was separate L and DK after 2001. And then LDK space is getting smaller. 3) Public space was effected by space of rooms and LDK. 4) The rest of the spaces rate except 6 spaces in SRHD increased as time goes on. This mean that rural life is changing diversely so, rural houses need various space such as sun room, study room, patio etc. except 6 spaces. 5) Storage spaces were not enough in SRHD of 2009, 2010 type. |
