Following the modern era, limits of de-constructivism and postmodernism began to appear in the trend of architecture. Initiated to overcome the limits, the encounter of architecture and philosophy led to the virtual concept of Gilles Deleuze, which allowed for application of philosophical implications and humanistic approach to architectural space. However, digital design architecture as one of the modern technologies to approach space installation was the only means tried to solve the issue. This has further made architecture as a realistic development much more difficult to understand, leading to the failure of using existing architectural skills and discontinuation from historical trends. In this regards, in an attempt to find a solution to this issue, this study is designed to analyze spatial characteristics of education and cultural facilities of architect SANAA well expressing regional features of Japan on the basis of modern and contemporary architect education. In methodology, we laid a framework for the analysis using definitions of wall and its elements as a basis of space construction, thereby identifying the characteristics of the wall structure of his architecture and examining the production and characteristics of virtual space. To conclude, building education and cultural facilities requires virtual space, and there are various approaches to it, which can be used as a new architecture design method. |
