And the lager window to ratio(WWR) has become a problem of heat loss. The government regulated the WWR through the U-factor. But more detailed guideline is needed because of the complicated design factors such as glazing system, WWR, shading, lighting control. They also have an effect on the energy, thermal comfort and illuminance. In this study, the energy consumption was analyzed through the various design factors for office building in seoul facing south using COMFEN 4.0 program. Fore simulation cases were analyzed. CASE 1 dealt with the influence between the WWR and glazing type. CASE 2 and 3 dealt with the lighting control and shading effect. Last, CASE 4 analyzed the total energy result from combination of various design factor.
