요약2	With the successful development of Beijing Dashanzi 798 and Shanghai Xintiandi, the key word of Shanghai urban development was changed from “Chinese Manufacturing” to “Chinese Creativity”, and the creativity industrial complex was developed by restoring old ones instead of pursuing new architecture and space. Before then, most of Shanghai's old factory areas were redeveloped into a new cultural and art complex space, however 1933 Shanghai, which used to be an old slaughterhouse, was renovated into a cultural space, suggesting a model for the creativity industrial complex. In this study, the renovation of Shanghai's modern architecture and the characteristics of recomposed space were investigated, focusing on 1933 Shanghai.
