Buildings have emitted over 40% of carbon dioxide against whole quantities emitted to the Earth. Therefore, Green building construction has become one of the important issues in the field of architecture over the past several years. Counter measures against global warming are the most important priority for mankind reducing the carbon dioxide emitted from buildings. So, Korea government has also executed the Green Building Certification Criteria(GBCC). The GBCC for educational facilities was legislated in 2005. The GBCC for educational facilities has the 9 types of evaluation categories.
