Commercially used methods for wall greening in Korea are by wire and mesh types. However, in the case of planter and panel types, although many patent applications for such have been filed and related technologies have been actively developed, it is still too early to say that these are suitable technologies for the Korean environment due to the small number of actual installations. In Japan, many green wall related companies have introduced a variety of wall greening methods and technologies such as panels and mesh and wire types to meet the demand for wall greening.
