At this time fourteen hospitals in Korea acquire the accreditation form Joint Commission International. The purpose of this study is to introduce the regulation of JCI accreditation standards for hospital, and to survey the facility management for the K university hospital. Methods:: Literature survey is carried out to classify the importance in the JCI accreditation standards. Also management program and equipment for facility safety are investigated from the site survey on the K university hospital. Results: The result of this study can be summarized into two points. The first one is that patient safety is essential element for the JCI accreditation process.
