Solar-control window films are used worldwide as an effective means of lowering building energy costs by reducing excessive solar heat gain through windows. And solar-control window films are generally used for window retrofit, which are intended to fix a problem with excessive solar heat gain and/or solar glare from an existing window. For this reason, the demand of solar-control window films has been increased for building retrofit since the films can control the solar heat gain through window system easily without modifying the exterior of building.
