The purpose of this study is to find the possibility to convert detached houses to shared houses. For the purpose, this study sought to find characteristics of real cases of remodeled shared houses from detached houses, and investigated single-household undergraduates' consciousness. The cases of shared house were selected from a portal site(www.naver.com) with an option of less than 3 years of conversion. The single-household undergraduates who answered the questionnaires in the way to write down were 136 Chung-buk university students in their 20s. The cases of shared house were studied on the type of house, resident information, number of households, exclusive space size, and common space. The requirements of undergraduates' need for shared house were analysed by SPSS WIN 19 with frequency and Chi-square analysis. The findings are as follows. 1) The shared houses of Korea is in the beginning stage to convert detached house to shared house, so that there is no diversity in space composition and the system of use and management of shared house need to be developed. 2) University students requirements showed the possibility to convert various houses to shared houses. Supposed to be within 10 minute distance from university on foot and have adjacent convenience store or big market, detached houses or multi-household houses may be remodeled to shared houses where 3~4 females reside with less than 300 thousand won monthly rent. |
