With the increase of the population in developing countries, the demand for new city is increasing in these days. According to these phenomenon, a lot of opportunity to extend urban design business abroad has arisen. For this business, we need to understand and predict climate of the corresponding areas. However, there is no index for understanding accurate climate characteristics of various regions in the world. In this study, an outdoor thermal comfort index, HSDH(Hot Sense Degree Hour) and CSDH(Cold Sense Degree Hour) are proposed. HSDH and CSDH are based on SET* and can be used as an annual, monthly outdoor thermal comfort index. In this paper, the outdoor thermal comfort of the 5 cities (Brasilia, Abu dhabi, Algiers, Shanghai, Seoul) are analyzed. |
