Since urban rivers contain abundant water resources and green resources, they are attracting attention as sites full of potential for the enrichment of city landscapes, urban natural and recreational spaces. In pursuit of these goals, changes to urban river areas recently include, the installation of Observation towers, increasing the appeal of their surroundings by making walks more delightful and increasing the richness of the surrounding cityscape. Therefore, the approaching method system that classifies and analyzes Observation towers views as a feature of the landscape must also be planned. This research has set a checklist for landscape composition on the basis through the classification of the elements of urban rivers and urban river areas, analyzing relationships of particular elements such as "major targets," "minor targets," or "target places" in an integrated landscape. The assessment shows that change in pedestrian linear change produces a big visual effect in a landscape. In planning and installing Observation towers near the urban rivers, the landscape elements experienced by the pedestrian could be adjusted more precisely and effectively by organizing them according to sequence change. |
