In construction sector which comprises two procurement categories of civil works and goods, neither the country's share of voting power nor grants and loans affects its contract amount while global competitiveness of contractors has a significant positive effect on the amount. Moreover, contract records in consultant market positively affects the construction contracts. In contrast, only the country's loan amount has a significant positive effect on the contract amount in consultant sector, while the country's share of voting power, global competitiveness of consultants, and contract records in construction market have little influence.
