The purpose of this study is to analyse about case studies of Renovation of on idle industrial facility into cultural Facilities. In the meantime, the industrial facility that wasn't able to fit the present society, though it had been the cornerstone of early industrialization has gradually waned, neglected, left alone without care. We call it idle industrial facility. The conversion of use and functions through renovation extends the life of existing buildings, consumes relative less amount of resource, conserve environment and save economic wasting, all of which are paving a way to the feasibility of renovation. From selected 4 Studies we can reach as follows, first, the changes of idle industrial facilities to cultural space requires the operation of grogram to reflect user's needs. and the exterior of idle industrial facilities should play a role of bridging the past and the present to preserve history. The renovation of idle industrial facility into cultural space gives vigor to deserted industrial facility, makes disconnected space be a collective space through the operation of diverse programs and creates the association between architectures and cities. Lastly, the renovation will create culturally unique space in a city on the basis of periodical historicity. |
