The building is designed in white color. Thus a new type of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), expressing white color, is developed to apply it to the opera house. In order to develop UHPWC, the cement and silica-fume, binder materials of UHPC, are substituted to the white materials because these materials contribute to the darkness or UHPC. However, the change of binder materials can significantly influence on both flowability and compressive strength of UHPC. The experiments are conducted to examine the effects of the white materials to the flowability and compressive strength. The experimental results show that flowability is substantially increased and compressive is slightly decreased.
