Since permanent rental housing was introduced for lower class in 1989 for the first time, various rental housing supplies for them were proceeded such as public rental housing and low-priced rental housing. However low-priced rental housing was recognized where low income class live in therefore area segregation between private and rental housing has occurred. To solve this issue social mix rental housing was emerged with government's diverse policies by applying mixing method of private and public rental housing when private company and regional development corporation like Korea land&housing corporation and SH corporation plan the housing. This study is focused on apartment complex which private and public rental housing are mixed irregularly in a block. Public housing in Cheonwang developed by SH corporation recently has irregular mixture of private and public rental housing sharing the same core in a block. Survey was conducted with the resident who live in the apartment complex which private and public rental housing are mixed in a block to evaluate perception and satisfaction about social mix. The study is to propose a direction for mixing method of private and public rental housing and to provide a basic data for future social mix through analyzing post-occupancy evaluation data and comparing with preceding research. |
