In an apartment house, which is a representative housing form and occupies over 57% of all the houses in Korea, floor noise between households is continuously occurring due to the structure to share the floor and wall with a neighboring household. According to the Ministry of Environment, civil complaints about floor noise had constantly increased to 16,370 from 2012 to 2014. So the importance of solving floor noise problems is becoming bigger and bigger. After the revision of Housing Act, it appears that floor noise problem in newly built houses would be solved gradually. But floor noise problems in apartment houses built before the enactment of floor noise-related law in 2005 cannot be fully solved through revision of law and there is a need to develop related technology. Therefore, this study quantitatively evaluated floor noise reduction performance in a multiplex house depending on the kinds of materials, thickness and construction location in order to research environmental characteristics of floor noise in a multiplex house, which was built before 2005 and needs to be remodeled, and to evaluate if reduction performance of floor noise materials is possible. For this study, reduction performance was measured by comparing and analyzing test cases depending on the kinds of floor noise materials in the lower bottom of the multiplex house, thickness and construction location, and reduction performance in the upper slab was measured, based on the results of the lower slab in the multiplex house. |
