Recently, green-remodeling has been highlighted due to the rapid growth of energy consumption. However, the authors came across several difficulties in establishing a green-remodeling system in place. The issues are as follows : (1) user’s subjective judgements (2) lack of information of green-remodeling (3) wasting cost and time by a lot of trial and errors. So, the purpose of this paper is to develop a passive and active element technique classification system for the green-remodeling database. The classification system of green-remodeling consist of four fields (exterior envelop, thermal source & air conditioning system, lighting system, renewable energy) and five steps. (1) step 1,2 : investigation of the present condition of the building (2) step 3 : establishing a direction of construction (3) step 4,5 : choice of energy-saving technology. Each of steps has a detailed and systematic standard. As a result, non-experts (architects, owners) can understand whole process of green-remodeling more intuitively and save a lot of time and cost by element technique classification system developed in this study. |
