This study analyzes the design characteristics of the kinetic facade of flagship stores of fashion retail brands. To enhance brand communication with customers, this study also discusses the applicable method of responsive kinetic facade design. To analyze the kinetic design characteristics of the flagship store facade, ten retail brands are selected from the global best 100 brands evaluated by INTERBRAND. As a result, the best applicable method of kinetic design characteristics on the flagship store is modularity, which has flexible function in layout .
