요약2	The construction automation technology becomes an useful alternative for enhancing competitiveness of domestic construction industry. The current trends on research and development should be analyzed to develop the technologies efficiently. Thus, this study analyzes the current research trends and direction on construction automation. As a result, current studies are focusing on developing effective construction information system(software) rather than construction automation system(hardware). In the field of automation system, Automated Construction System(ACS) that can be operated diverse construction environments will be actively developed. In the field of information system, application of BIM combined with various technologies such as AR will be increasing steadily. This study contributes to setting the direction of future research and development on construction automation.
