By now some efforts were paid to improve the quantity and quality of housing for youth, such as ‘Happy House’(affordable housing for young people). But compared to the demands, supply is still very under the level of the demands. For this, we chose a land in Changshin-Dong, Seoul as a target place for the architectural planning. A survey from 105 young people was utilized to identify housing needs of young people. Based on this survey and interviews with some people who live in this area, the detailed alternative housing plans were presented in this paper.
