In January 2015, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced a policy for NEW STAY. However, there has been a lack of basic research on NEW STAY. The purpose of this study is to provide a basis of the local activation as checking perception and preference of potential consumers, focusing on housing service, about NEW STAY. The data for the analysis was collected through questionnaire survey method from August 14 to 21, 2016, and 193 questionnaires were used as analysis materials. Using the IBM SPSS Statistic 20, analysis of frequency, percentage, averages, t-test, one-way ANOVA was conducted. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Respondent's residential intentions of NEW STAY and NEW STAY knowledge was low. However, monthly rent tenants' residential intention was relatively high. 2. Both the strengths and weaknesses for NEW STAY were option on rent. 3. The highest preference to area was usable space of 59m². Opinion that NEW STAY rent is reasonable was rare. 4. In the housing service, high preference item and low preference item were clearly divided. Also, The clear preference difference depending on the general characteristics about 12 to 20 housing services was found. |
