요약2	External insulation system can help to save energy by heat storage effect that is related to heat capacity. For example, water has one of the highest thermal capacities heat capacity - 4.2 J/(cm³·K) whereas concrete has about one third of that. To confirm the benefit of this effect, this study analyzed heat transmission properties of internal and external insulation system by EnergyPlus simulation method. As a result, external insulation system showed a lower heating and cooling loads than internal insulation system. Also heat transfer rate of external insulation system is more steady than internal insulation system. The external insulation system is effective for energy saving as compared with the internal insulation system. About 13.6% of heating and cooling energy demand is decreased when the outdoor wall was finished with external insulation system compared to those of the internal insulation system.
