(연구배경 및 목적) 박 대통령은 2013년 미국의 상*하 양원 합동연설에서 "DMZ에 세계평화공원을 만들고 싶다."고 천명하였다. 이에 정부와 지방정부는 DMZ 세계평화공원 조성에 대한 다양한 정책을 제안하고 있다. 본 연구는 DMZ 평화공원 조성에 따라 DMZ일원 생태환경보호를 조건으로 세계평화의 상징인 동시에 지역경제에도 이익이 될 수 있는 공간디자인 관점에서 디자인정책방안을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. (연구방법)이에 DMZ 관련문헌연구를 통하여 문제, 조건, 활용에 대한 이론적 배경을 고찰하고 DMZ의 평화적 이용에 관한 국내 외 사례를 네오, 에코투어리즘으로 분별하여 사례를 살펴보고 시간적, 공간적, 디자인적 조성방안에 대하여 제시하였다. (결과)시간적 단계별 계획으로 1단계 테마별 평화공원 조성후보지 배후시설 확충, 2단계 UN 관리 평화공원조성, 3단계 남북 DMZ관련 공간 및 시설 연결통합화를 제시하였다. 공간적 접근방안으로 수직, 수평적 방안을 제안하였다. 공간디자인 조성방안으로, DMZ일원에 거버넌스 차원의 남과 북을 아우르는 DMZ평화벨트 조성을 제안한다. |

(Background and purpose) The president of South Korea, Park Gun-Hye, stated her standpoint saying, "I want to make the demilitarized zone into a world peace park" in the speech delivered to the House and Senate of the United States in 2013. In this regard, the central and local governments of Korea are suggesting various policies to create a DMZ world peace park. The main purpose of this study is to suggest not only the DMZ world peace park to protect the natural environment of the zone as a symbol of the world peace but also the policy plan to contribute to the local economy from the space design perspective. (Method) The theoretical background on problems, conditions and applications through the DMZ related studies was considered carefully. And temporal, spatial and design alternatives are suggested taking in consideration of domestic and foreign studies on the peaceful use of the DMZ and categorizing them into Neo and ecotourism. (Result) This study suggests the solutions by stages; 1st stage: The selection of the most suitable palace by categories and securing the related infrastructures, 2nd stage: The creation of the peace park under the control of the United Nations, 3rd stage: The suggestion of the connection and integration of space and facilities between 2 Koreas(South & North) which means the creation of the DMZ peace belt that governs South and North as a policy plan in the space design. |
