(연구배경 및 목적)오늘날의 미술관은 전시만을 목적으로 하는 공간이 아닌 도시 디자인 및 기능에서도 전문적인 요구사항들이 충족되어야 하는 공간으로 발전되었다. 급변하고 다원화된 현대 사회에서 단순한 물리적 경계를 넘어서 다양하고 유기적으로 변화하는 공간의 영역을 건축과 사회, 건축과 공간의 관계성을 중요하게 생각하며 건축하는 SANAA의 미술관 건축 작품을 중심으로 살펴보고 이를 통해 현대 미술관 건축의 흐름과 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. (연구방법)이에 본 연구는 선행 연구 논문을 통해 미술관의 개념과 공간구성요소를 구분하여 분류하고 이를 바탕으로 SANAA가 설계한 미술관 공간을 분석한다. (결과)SANAA가 설계한 미술관 건축의 공간구성요소의 특성은 건축물과 주변 환경의 상호 교류를 통해 만들어지는 관계성에 주목하고 단순화된 공간에서 내·외부의 경계를 통한 시각적 연속성이 보여지며 관람객이 주체가 되어 경험에 의해 만들어지는 공간을 형성하고 자연의 유입으로 자연과 건축물이 동화되는 일본 전통건축의 특성이 나타난다. 이와 같은 특성은 사용자에 의해 만들어지고 경험되어지는 새로운 공간의 창출을 가능하게 한다. |

(Background and Purpose) This study examines the art museum building products of SANAA, which builds structures with a deep awareness of the relationships between architecture and society. Consideration is given to the relationship between architecture and space in variously and organically changing spatial domains, moving beyond simple physical borders in a rapidly changing and diversified modern society. Finally, this research aims to suggest the flow and direction of modern art museum construction. (Method) Accordingly, this research classifies concepts related to art museums and spatial elements into advanced research theses. Based on this method, it analyzes art museum spaces designed by SANAA. (Result) The characteristics of the spatial elements in art museums designed by SANAA reveal attention to relationships created by mutual exchanges between buildings and their surrounding environments. They show visual continuity through internal/external borders in simplified spaces and then form spaces made by the experiences of audiences as subjects. The characteristics of Japanese traditional architecture, in which nature and buildings become assimilated through the inflow of nature, are revealed. Such characteristics make it possible to create new spaces made and experienced by users. |
