요약2	The purpose of this study is to investigate the residential environmental situation and to identify the improvement factors in Ger areas around Ulaanbaatar city. The data about Mongolian residential environment was collected by using statistical data, articles, research papers and so on in the related field. The data results show that the residential environment of the Ger area is relatively poor compared to the living environment of apartment area where the people want to live but cannot due to lack of economic power. The worst situation is the air pollution due to the bad supply system for the fresh water, no disposal system for the wastewater, and no heating system in the Ger area which decreases the residential environment quality which should be improved by examining the good cases of foreign countries.
