요약2	Many countries in the world as well as Korea are faced with environmental issues like global warming due to problems like greenhouse gas etc. In terms of energy consumption, university buildings rank at the 3rd highest following common housings and commercial buildings. To address this issue, domestic universities are making efforts to reduce energy consumption by establishing the Korean Association for Green Campus Initiative. This study was conducted for K university in Gyeonggido which adopted the green campus system in order to examine the status of energy consumption of university buildings, one of the organizations consuming energy a lot. The study examined the quantity of use of electricity, gas and water for 5 years from June 2012 to May 2017. The quantity of saved energy was obtained by comparing and calculating based on the data of 2010, and economic efficiency was evaluated in KRW. The rate of energy saving after adopting the green campus system showed a 17.94% reduction a year on average for 5 years. The use of water resulted in a 41.56% yearly reduction in quantity for 5 years after the green campus system. Judging by this data, the adoption of the green campus system reduced 460 million KRW a year on average for 5 years, which demonstrates the efficiency of the green campus.
