(연구방법) 본 연구방법은 다음과 같다. 증가하고 있는 1인 가구출현의 사회적 배경과 1인 가구의 현황을 고찰하고 공간 개념 변화에 따른 효율적인 공간 활용의 필요성을 파악한다. 가구와 공간의 양자적 조건을 충족시키는 공간적 가구의 의미에 대해 알아본다. 이를 통해 1인 주거 환경에 나타나는 가구의 공간적 확장에 대해 분석한다. 이에 근거하여 공간적 확장성을 통한 1인 주거환경의 공간 디자인의 개념을 정리 한다. (결과) 1인 주거 환경에서 나타나는 가구의 공간적 확장에 관한 분석 내용은 기능적 확장, 심리적 확장, 조형적 확장으로 다양한 모습을 가졌지만, 그 특성의 관계가 한쪽으로 치우치지 않고 서로 상호 관계에서 형성되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 사용자 중심의 가구의 공간적 확장을 이루기 위해서는 가구와 공간과의 조화, 사용자의 라이프스타일 변화에 따른 유동적 개념이 이루어져야지만 진정한 사용자의 니즈에 맞는 공간의 확장이 이루어질 수 있다고 본다. (결론) 본 연구를 통해 고정적이고 제한적인 공간을 가구의 공간적 확장으로 다양하게 표현이 되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 공간적 가구가 다양한 요소와 결합을 통해 확장되며 공간, 가구의 경계가 모호해지며 통합되는 경향을 알 수 있었다. 가구의 공간적 확장의 사례분석을 통해 1인 주거 환경에서 나타나는 기능, 심리, 조형적 확장은 사용자에 따라 계획되었던 전통적 공간 구성의 양상과는 확연히 다른 방식을 보여주는 것을 알 수 있었다. 1인 주거공간은 새롭게 등장한 주거 방식이며, 거주인의 개성적 생활 방식에 따라 다양한 측면에서 파악될 수 있다. |

(Background and purpose) Single-person households are increasing, and the average number of family members is decreasing due to various social factors, including a shift in family values, the intensification of egotism, an increase in the singles population, employment instability, and deteriorating economic conditions. Such tendencies require the reinvention of residential environments that reflect the changes in modern lifestyles and family types, along with the diversification of single-person residential environments, and research on the spatial expansion of furniture for more efficient usage of space. This study therefore seeks to understand, from the diverse designs found in rapidly increasing single-person households, the meaning of "spatial furniture" or the spatial expansion of furniture, as well as design directions based on case studies. (Methods) The research methods of the study are as follows: investigating the social background that led to the appearance of more single-person households, defining their present condition, assessing the necessity of efficient use of space, according to shifting concepts of space, and exploring the purpose of spatial furniture that fulfills requirements for both furniture and space. These activities allow for the analysis of the spatial expansion of furniture that occurs in single-person, residential environments. The resulting spatial design of a single-person dwelling is organized through spatial scalability. (Results) Although the analysis of the spatial expansion of furniture in single-person residential environments reveals various facets of functional, psychological and formative expansion, property relationships between them are not biased and are formed through mutual relationships. To achieve spatial expansion of user-centered furniture, the focus must be on the spatial expansion that exists in the user's life and lifestyle, as well as the changing nature of the user's lifestyle. (Conclusion) In this study, it could be deduced that fixed and limited spaces were being expressed far more diversely through the spatial expansion of furniture. Spatial furniture expands through a combination of various elements, and the lines between furniture and space become blurred as they merge. Through the analysis of cases of spatial expansion of furniture, it became clear that the functional, psychological, and formative expansion found in single-person residential environments was definitely different from traditional forms of space organization, which had planned around users. Single residential dwellings represent a new residential style, and they can be found in different forms according to the way each person lives. |
