요약2	The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of service-supported housing for various vulnerable groups in Japan. For this purpose, the study analyzed the spatial and service characteristics of 4 service-supported housing cases for various vulnerable groups such as the elderly, the disabled, the single-parent family and homeless in Japan. The method of the study was the literature research, field case observation and interview. The results were summarized as follows. In terms of the spatial characteristics, there were many cases where the empty space was remodeled. This can be an example of addressing the local problem of how to cope with increasing vacancies due to aging and hollowing out at the same time to changing needs for local and individual customization. In addition, the community space was important to supplement the deficiency for them. In terms of service characteristics, there were the various services such as life support, medical health, safety·relief, self-support and exchange support. The service support methods as well as the service contents were diversified. The supportive housing is essential to pursue the ultimate goal of these independent living in the community. To develop the supportive housing, bottom up approach is very important and useful to accurately grasp the demand of the customer and provide customized space and service.
